What convictions have you felt lately that your emotions are getting in the way of acting upon them? This can be small or large. An example that comes to mind happened just yesterday. This young homeless woman approached us asking for money. We felt the conviction to help her and give her some money, but our emotions were not aside with our convictions. Our emotions were more on the angle of this woman should get herself a job rather than beg for money. Thats how convictions and emotions negatively correlate with another. The Holy Spirit convicts us of what we should do that is right or what we are doing that is wrong. Don’t let humanly emotions stand in the way of what the Holy Spirit is convicting you about.
